Chris joined MCG in 2005 with over 10 years experience in the telecom industry. Chris began his career as a fiber optic splicing technician. He continued his career in the sales of fiber optic supplies and equipment on a national scale.
Chris served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant of the Guard. Chris has a daughter and lives in West Grove, PA.
Andy Kalie – Operations Manager

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Andy is a 1996 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Civil Engineering and an officer commission in the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
Andy has over 10 years of experience in the telecom industry, working as a Construction & Engineering Manager for Adesta Communications (formerly MFS Network Technologies and as a Project Manager for Henkels & McCoy in the NJ/NY/PA region. Andy joined MCG in 2004 and utilizes his experience in engineering, network design, construction, field operations and project management to effectively execute MCG’s business plan and implement all daily operations.
Andy is a member of the United States Air Force in the 270th Engineering & Installations Squadron in Willow Grove, PA where he serves as the officer in charge of engineering.
Shawn Perrin – Engineering Manager

Shawn is a 1995 graduate of Lehigh University with a major in Materials Engineering. Shawn spent 5 years as a field engineer for Corrpro Inc and another 5 years as a Project Engineer for Henkels & McCoy before joining MCG in 2004.
Shawn lives in Conshohocken and has an upcoming marriage with his fiancée, Molly.
John Stephens – Construction Manager

John has over 20 years experience in the telecom industry with extensive knowledge of OSP & ISP construction. John joined MCG in 2006 to oversee all construction projects. John lives in Unionville, PA.
Steve Cumberland – OSP Engineer

Steve has a total of 35 years in the telecom industry, beginning in 1971 as an Installer/Repairman with New Jersey Bell.
After finishing college at Fairleigh Dickinson University with a major in mechanical engineering, Steve was promoted by NJ Bell into their OSP Engineering Department. Before joining MCG in 2004, Steve spent 20 years as Right of Way Manager for TCG and then AT&T after their merger.
Steve resides in Lords Valley, PA with his wife and 3 daughters.
James Schrenk – OSP Engineer

James has been involved in the telecom industry for over 25 years starting out as a PBX Technician. James worked as a Senior OSP Engineer for TCG and as an OSP Manager for AT&T before joining MCG in 2004.
James lives in Pittsburgh. He and his wife, Chrissy enjoy spending time with their four children at the beach, camping and baseball games.
Richard Shelmerdine – OSP Engineer

Richard has a total of 12 years experience in the telecom industry. He attended Lincoln Technical Institute majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Richard designed packaging machinery components prior to entering the telecommunications field in 1995. Richard worked for Teleport Communications Group (TCG) in North NJ prior to transferring to Washington DC in 1996 as an OSP Engineer and later an OSP Manager to help start the TCG Washington DC local fiber network. Richard worked in Europe to establish, project manage and maintain multiple DWDM networks. He also worked for two years on the US Department of State Embassy Technical Security Upgrade project.
Richard joined MCG in 2004. He resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and daughter.
Joe Markawicz – OSP Engineer

Joe has over 14 years of OSP experience in surveying, engineering and construction inspection in the United States Air Force. After leaving active military duty, he spent 4 years as an OSP Project Engineer for Henkels & McCoy before joining MCG in 2004.
Joe is still a member of the United States Air Force in the 270th Engineering & Installations Squadron in Willow Grove, PA. Joe lives in Levittown with his beautiful daughter Kaitlyn.
Scott Heinlen – OSP Engineer

Born in New Jersey, Jeff grew up in Fond Du Lac WI has over 19 years in the construction industry with a degree in computer technology from the Cittone Institute of Technology. Jeff’s career in OSP began in 1987 with Michael’s Construction. Jeff has since held a multitude of titles and has worked with different types of companies. As an OSP Engineer, Jeff worked with Adesta Communications and Henkles & McCoy. He has joined MCG in 2006.
Jeff resides in Bethlehem, PA with his Wife Sandy and three children.
Rob Hoekstra – OSP Engineer

Raised in Sutton, MA, Rob has over 17 years experience in the fiber optic industry. His skills began as a lead splicing technician in the early 1990’s. His career advanced as an OSP Engineer for AT&T LNS. Rob joined MCG in 2004 as an OSP Engineer working in the New England Region.
Rob lives in Spencer, MA with his wife and 3 children. Rob is an avid golfer and sports fan.
Marc Rosenblatt – Splicing Manager

A 1991 graduate of Temple University, Marc joined in 2000. Marc is the manager of MCG’s splicing division.
Marc lives in Holland, PA with his wife and two children, all of whom are Philly sports fans.
Ron Baroni – OSP Project Manager

Ron joined MCG in 2004 and possesses 20 years of OSP experience. He previously worked with TCG, and then with AT&T LNS as an OSP manager after the 1998 merger.
Ron manages the OSP GeoLink project for New York City, New Jersey and Delaware Valley.

Ted graduated from Penn State University in 2000. He joined MCG in 2003 as a fiber optic cable splicer and currently manages the survey and engineering division for Verizon's FTTP project in New Jersey’s eastern shore. He enjoys the outdoors, hunting and spending time with his family.
Reggie Blackwell – OSP Project Manager

Reggie is a former Military Electronics Avionics Technician, with over 30 years of telecom experience with Verizon as a central office technician, systems technician and compliance inspector. Reggie joined MCG in 2005. Reggie resides in Baltimore, MD and enjoys tennis and various other outdoor activities.

John was born in Boston, MA and graduated from Hartwick College located in Oneonta, NY in 1995. Prior to joining MCG in 2004, John worked 6 yrs as an OSP, ISP and Network Engineer for AT&T LNS in Boston. John is now the lead installer and project manager for MCG's data installations in New England.
John resides in the coastal town of Hull, Ma. He enjoys fishing, snowboarding, playing lacrosse and of course....All sports NEW ENGLAND!

Lisa Saitta – CAD Operator

Lisa was born in Lansdale, PA and is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute where she earned her degree in Computer Drafting and Design. Lisa joined MCG in 2006. She currently resides in North Wales, PA and enjoys eating, sleeping and the Pittsburgh Steelers (no kidding).
